My sister is too generous. A couple weeks ago I told her I’d do her laundry for $25 because I needed money. And she told me not to do her laundry and she gave me a $50 check. I didn’t even ask for that much, and I told her that I’ll pay her back when I get my paycheck but she said not to. She also pays for my dog’s necessities. Also, when I asked her to buy me a yoga mat today I told her I would pay her back because I get paid this week. She just got home with the yoga mat, and she said not to pay her back.

Even though we aren’t close and we don’t understand each other, she’s there to help me. It may only be financially, but I know that later on in life when I need her help she’ll be there to help me because I’m her sister. This kind of teaches me to pay things forward instead of paying back if that makes sense.
