Hm, well okay there are a lot of Christian individuals that think that it’s bad to even have a glass of wine and others think that it’s okay to get drunk as long as you don’t do it every weekend. However in the Bible in the book of Proverbs 20:1 it says,”Wine is a mocker, intoxicating drink arouses brawling” and it Habakkuk 2:15 says,”Woe to him who gives drink to his neighbor, pressing him to your bottle, even to make him drunk”. The Bible doesn’t say that drinking a glass of wine, or beer, or cocktail at with dinner is a sin. However getting drunk is the sin, because it distorts judgement. I know it’s a generalized answer but the Spirit is the only one that should fill the individual and not an intoxicating drink. But like I said, a lot of Christians think that getting drunk for only a night isn’t so bad. I never saw it as an individual decision though, I mean the Bible is pretty clear on the topic. BUT I don’t hate people who get drunk..don’t get me wrong lol.
